BeSec CTF
A two-day global Capture The Flag event designed to challenge, inspire, and sharpen cybersecurity skills across experience levels. Rules & Regulations
To keep the competition fair, fun, and truly challenging for everyone, please make sure you follow these guidelines:
Team Size Limit
- Each team can have a maximum of 2 members.
- Solo participation is allowed, but no team may exceed this limit.
- Only one team from a company can register
Event Duration
The start and end times of the CTF will be determined by the organizers. All challenge submissions after the end time will be invalid.
Each correct flag submission awards points
The team with the highest score at the end wins. In case of a tie, the team that reached the score first wins.
No Flag Hoarding
Once you capture a flag, submit it promptly. Hoarding or sharing flags is strictly prohibited.
Flags are secret
Don’t post or discuss flag values publicly (Discord, social media, etc.) during the competition.
Respect the organizers and other players
Any abusive, disrespectful, or toxic behavior will not be tolerated.
Only attack your target
Do not attack the CTF platform, scoreboard, or other teams.
No DoS / DDoS
Denial-of-service attacks against any service (including challenge servers) are strictly prohibited.
No Cross-Team Collaboration
Any form of collaboration, communication, or flag sharing between teams will lead to immediate disqualification.
Integrity First
Exploiting the platform, attacking infrastructure, or any unethical behavior outside the intended challenge scope is strictly forbidden.
Organizers’ Decision is Final
In all disputes or edge cases, the organizers’ decision will be final and binding.
NB: A single challenge may have multiple flags.
